The booking menu at Chico's lists three services that all sound like "a haircut." They're priced and timed differently because they are different amounts of work. Here's how to pick the right one so your barber has the time set aside.
Haircut — $40, 30 min
The classic. Shears, clippers or both, with a taper on the sides and length on top that's shaped to you. This is the right choice for most cuts: a side part, a textured crop, a swept-back style, or simply the same cut you always get, cleaned up. If your hair is shoulder length or longer, pick the Medium-Long Length Haircut option under Haircut ($50, 45 min) — longer hair takes longer to cut well. The Mullet has its own option at the same price and time.
Skin Fade — $50, 45 min
A fade taken all the way down to bare skin at the bottom, blended up into the length on top. The blend is the whole point, and it takes time to get right, which is why it's a separate service. If the photo you're bringing shows skin at the temple and neckline, this is what you book. Skin Taper is listed as an option inside the same service.
Buzz Cut — $20, 15 min
One or two guard lengths all the way around — for example a #1 everywhere, or a #1 on the sides and a #2 on top. Fast, clean, and easy to keep up at home. If you want a fade, a line-up around a longer top, or scissors anywhere, that's a Haircut, not a Buzz Cut.
Adding a beard or a shave
The combination services — Haircut & Beard Trim, Haircut & Full Beard Service, Haircut & Shave — show their options and prices in the booking menu. If your combination includes a skin fade or long hair, follow the extra-time instructions there so the appointment is long enough.
